This exclusive CAMRA tankard is a collaboration between CAMRA and Lucy Young Ceramics, a celebrated studio based in the Cotswolds known for creating timeless, functional pottery with a modern twist. Lucy’s work combines traditional hand-throwing techniques with contemporary glazes, creating ceramics that are both durable and beautiful to use.
Every tankard begins as a carefully prepared lump of British clay, hand-thrown on the wheel and shaped with precision. Once formed, each piece is trimmed, bisque-fired, glazed, and fired again to create a rich, tactile finish. The result is a tankard that feels solid in the hand yet refined enough to take pride of place on any shelf or table.
This special edition proudly bears the new CAMRA logo, permanently fired into the glaze—a symbol of both organisations’ shared appreciation for heritage, craftsmanship, and authenticity.
