Pete Coxon

Pete Coxon was born in Middlesbrough in 1947. Married with a son and two daughters he now lives in York, but has recently spent much of his time travelling throughout England and many other countries. After a career in finance, he has spent much of his time writing and illustrating.

An active member of York Art Society and until recently the editor of its quarterly magazine, he has sold several paintings at exhibitions.

Passionate about unearthing history, Pete has explored the lives and times of his ancestors back to Tudor times. Over the last few years he has been a regular contributor to the Good Pub Guide and is a member of the Inn Sign Society.
