CAMRA's Good Beer Guide Privilege Club
Since the first edition in 1972, the Good Beer Guide has been spearheaded by CAMRA members across the UK. Every year members of CAMRA will visit pubs in their region and often further afield, and will quality assess the real ale they are drinking by giving it a score. (National Beer Scoring System (NBSS) – see here for more information ) These scores are then submitted through WHATPUB? or the Good Beer Guide APP
This information is then collated by branches and a final selection process for pubs to be included in the next edition of the Good Beer Guide begins.
The Good Beer Guide is quite possibly the best researched and most up-to-date independent guide to Britain’s best pubs. It is a great traveler’s companion and a fantastic resource for breweries (with over 1800 listed) , licensees and anyone with an interest in the drinks trade.
